COMS® One

The COMS® One device is reusable and can be cleaned and disinfected between use on different patients/after each treatment. Its interface is fully compatible with the COMStouch adapter and COMSfix/refix strap.

COMStouch

The COMStouch wound adapter is sterile and needs to be disposed of after every treatment. Its interface allows hands-free mounting to the therapy unit and soft body adaption.

COMSfix / COMSrefix

The fixation band comes as single use (COMSfix), or multi-use (COMSrefix). The fixation to the therapy unit is done with a simple hook and loop principle.

COMS® One Product Application

Our goal was to develop a therapy device that is used at home by relatives as well as by professionals in the clinic. To achieve this, we had to understand the challenges these people face every day and involve them closely in the design process.

How to perform a COMS® treatment?

Remove closure of COMStouch, but keep wound adapter inside.

Connect COMS® One device with the wound adapter. Proper connection is indicated by a “click” sound.

Fixate
Fixate

Attach device to the target area with the COMSfix/COMSrefix strap.

Initiate Therapy
Initiate Therapy

Start COMS® therapy by pressing the On/Off-button. The treatment is complete after 16 minutes.

Dispose
Dispose

Remove device and dispose of single use material (COMStouch, COMSfix).
